Central bodies

A central die-cast aluminum manifold is the central part of all power units for all industrial sectors, mobile and marine applications.

Different executions are available to optimize applications: Universal body, Smart body and Micro body

All offer the highest integration and flexibility on the market: up to nine cartridge devices can be mounted in the cavities, to create the most diverse schemes, as well as a wide choice of external blocks and hydraulic valves.

Central bodies for group 0 and group 1 pumps: Micro, Smart and Universal version. They have a maximum flow rate of up to 25 l / min (6 GPM), with a low pressure drop. The maximum power of the electric motor that can be installed is up to 7.5kW, well above the average of alternative products on the market.

The side cavities comply with the SAE08 standard (3 / 4-16UNF).

The external connection ports for flexible or rigid pipes are standardized: the P and T ports are 1/4 "BSPP (International Standard) or 9 / 16-18UNF (SAE06 - American version) for direct connection to the fitting.

The interfaces to the tanks and engines are standardized. All steel and plastic tanks for the same range have the same interface and can be easily interchangeable. All AC or DC motors can be mounted easily, either directly to the central manifold or through adapter flanges (standard IEC B14 or NEMA 56C and 184TC motors).

Standard gear pumps group 0.25, 0.5 or 1 with pen shaft and clockwise (our standard) or anticlockwise rotation can be mounted. Double pumps are also available, including those with integrated HI-LO circuit, and low-noise helical gear pumps.

Common questions

Below you can find the most common questions and answers, or you can call us at Tel. 39.0362.1841.210
  • What type of central body should I choose?

Universal bodies are the legacy version of our range. The UA type is the most applied for single or double effect circuits. UB is the true "Universal" central body since, in addition to the UA-type features, there are two extra lateral cavities to mount, for example, an integrated emergency hand pump and an externally adjustable flow control. U4 is recommended for compact and economical double-acting circuits with only one cylinder.

  • Do I need special tools to assemble the components inside the central body?

No. All the valves are screw-on cartridge and made in one piece (without nuts, washers, sliders in separate parts, so nothing difficult to assemble). Components can be easily assembled with simple hand tools and hex or Allen keys. However, the tightening torques must be observed.

  • Is the central body available as a kit component?

Yes. We can supply fully assembled and tested hydraulic power packs or loose component kits that can be stocked and custom assembled to meet local market demand quickly and effectively. Core bodies and strategic components are 100% tested even when supplied as loose parts.

available in single-phase or three-phase version, in case 71, 80 and 90, with square flange and pen shaft. Compared to the standard IEC B14 motors on the market, we suggest adopting this type of motors both for the aforementioned advantages and because they have been designed to be used specifically on our mini control units, offering a high power density and starting torque.

They are intended for intermittent use (S3 40%), a typical case of mini power pack applications. In emergency situations they can be used continuously at 70% of their rated power. Given their particular construction, single-phase motors must not operate without load for a long period, in order to avoid overheating.

Special powers, voltages and / or executions, also for continuous use S1 and high efficiency IE4 / IE5, are available on request.
